New TEMPO spraybooth installed at Fix Auto Loughborough – “the future of our industry”
We were delighted to play an integral part in Fix Auto UK’s latest Fix & Go express repair facility. Fix Auto Loughborough is now fully operational and open for business – working alongside Paul Smith’s traditional and well-established repair centre.
We installed a four-bay moveable Tempo spraybooth and the 11,000 sq ft centre is already processing 35 vehicles a week, with the aim to surpass 50.
Explaining why he chose STL, Paul said: “We wanted a faster turnaround and we are already seeing the benefits of the new four-bay spraybooth. We spent a lot of time looking at various booths and it was clear STL offered the best one. We also liked the people there and having been through the experience of installation, it is clear they do what it says on the box. We couldn’t have asked for more.”
Kevin Dillion, Sales Director at STL, said: “Our work with Fix Auto Loughborough is another fantastic partnership we have built with the Fix Auto company. We are delighted to hear that it is already making such a big difference to production.”
Commenting on the development to Fix Auto, Paul added: “While there will always be a place for a traditional bodyshop capable of completing severe repairs, I see the Fix & Go express concept, where we aim to repair each vehicle within three days, as the future of our industry.”
