Bespoke Spraybooth Installation for Penske Porsche, Germany
A challenging first-floor installation for Penske Porsche in Germany, featuring a fully electric Cyclone spraybooth designed around a low ceiling and complex existing services.
The customer required a significant improvement in paint finish quality to meet the strict standards associated with multiple British Navy frigate refits. Previous work had been carried out in a temporary tented area, creating compliance, consistency, and efficiency challenges.
A fully compliant, permanent finishing solution was therefore needed to support both quality expectations and future operational demand.
This project involved several important operational and site-specific considerations:
Working within a facility handling MOD-related equipment and associated controls
Supporting a workforce requiring additional training due to on-site skills shortages
Introducing fully electrically powered spraybooth technology for the first time with this client
Designing within the height constraints of the existing host building
Together, these factors required careful planning, clear communication, and a solution tailored to both compliance and usability.
A turnkey finishing environment was designed and delivered to replace the previous temporary setup with a compliant, high-performance system aligned to defence-sector expectations.
The completed installation provided the customer with a reliable, future-ready finishing capability — and the client was extremely pleased with the outcome.
