Project overview
STL was appointed to design and deliver a fully purpose-built spraybooth facility as part of a customer’s redevelopment project, moving from an older site into a custom-built new depot.
The customer required a turnkey solution that integrated seamlessly with their main building contractor’s work, delivering a spraybooth system designed for operational efficiency, flexibility, and long-term use within the bodyshop.
The challenge
The project required a versatile finishing environment capable of handling a range of vehicle sizes, from large trucks to small vehicles and, where possible, accommodating two jobs simultaneously.

The solution
STL engineered and installed a commercial spraybooth facility tailored to the customer’s new depot and operational requirements.
The installation included:
An 18m × 5.5m × 5.5m split commercial spraybooth with WallMan pneumatic access platforms for safe and efficient working at height
A 5m × 2.7m paint mixing room serving both booths, optimising workflow and paint availability
The overall layout was designed to support multiple workstreams simultaneously, while the roof-mounted plant maximised usable floor space for vehicle preparation and movement.
